Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to what homeowners most often ask about HVACServiceLine.com.
Is HVACServiceLine.com an HVAC contractor?
No. HVACServiceLine.com is an independent referral service. We help connect homeowners with independent, third-party HVAC companies serving their area — we do not perform HVAC work ourselves.
Is there a cost to use HVACServiceLine.com?
Submitting a request through HVACServiceLine.com is free for homeowners. Any cost for the actual HVAC work is between you and the independent provider you're connected with.
How does the matching process work?
You share some basic details about your HVAC need and location. That information is used to connect you with an independent provider serving your area, who will follow up directly to discuss your situation.
Will I be connected with more than one provider?
It depends on availability in your area. Some homeowners are connected with a single provider; in other cases, more than one may reach out. You're never obligated to move forward with anyone you're connected with.
Does HVACServiceLine.com guarantee the quality of work performed?
No. Providers in our network are independent businesses, and HVACServiceLine.com does not warrant or guarantee any work they perform. We recommend homeowners confirm a provider is properly credentialed and covered for the work before moving forward.
Is service available nationwide?
Our network includes independent HVAC providers across all five U.S. regions. Actual response time and provider availability still vary by specific location and current demand.
How do I stop receiving calls or texts after submitting a request?
See our Do Not Call Policy for how to opt out of further communication and how that request is processed.
What if I need service outside of regular business hours?
Some independent providers in our network offer extended or 24/7 emergency service, subject to provider participation, location, technician availability, and demand. Submit a request describing the urgency and a provider will follow up on realistic timing.
